SUNDAY ASSEMBLY EAST END TAKES OVER THE ROYAL FESTIVAL HALL!

We're hosting a special one off assembly as part of the Southbank Centre's 'Belief and Beyond Belief', a year long festival which "explores what it means to be human". Sounds right up our street…

In our usual over ambitious style, we're tackling that old 'Meaning of Life' conundrum. We may not be offering a definitive answer, but we should have a few promising leads…

Our main speaker will be Jonathan Rowson, a philosopher, chess Grandmaster and former head of the RSA's Director of the Social Brain Centre - he's presumably thought about it a bit. Check him out talking about modern spirituality here.

For 'East Side Stories’ we've got our very own Babs who's post retirement lust for life indicates she figured it out long ago!

The assembly will also be co hosted by Sanderson Jones, one of the founder's of the global Sunday Assembly movement and someone who's spent the last four years dedicated to helping people address this question collectively.

We'll also be treated to some spoken word from Tofi, a very talented young (12!) creative from the East End.

Plus the usual appropriately themed sing alongs with the legendary East End house band. Get involved!

Day passes for all the days events, including discussions on everything from Mindfulness to Mysticism, are £15. Buy tickets and find out more here.
