It's the most wonderful time of the year! Come celebrate with us for a truly wonderful winter Sunday Assembly. We'll be back in the central ground floor room of the Wonder Inn spreading lots of joy and things like that.
Our main speaker will be Stephanie Laing, from Citizens UK, who will give a talk on community involvement, and the taking advantage of the community spirit over the xmas and new year period.

We are also delighted to have Rose Condon as our poet. For more info, check out her website http://www.rosecondo.net/ or follow her on Twitter @prairiepetal

12noon: tea, coffee, cake & good conversation!

Sunday Assembly Manchester is part of a global community that celebrates life, and everyone is welcome to join us. Here in Manchester, we meet on the second Sunday of every month for inspirational events which combine inspiring talks, sing-along pop songs and a touch of mindfulness, all followed up by tea and cake. In between these gatherings there's loads of community activities to get involved with.

To achieve this, we need your help, we need your energy, we need your support and we need you to get involved! We are building a community and we want you to be a part of it.

Also this Sunday, we are running a Help Often Campaign. Help Often is one of Sunday Assembly's key motto's, along with Live Better and Wonder More. As we are entering winter and the cold, but also the holiday season with feelings of festivity, joy and goodwill, we will be collecting items for the homeless in partnership with Barnabus Manchester. The items they are most in need of are:
  • New boxer shorts
  • Sleeping bags
  • Jeans - particularly size 30 and 32 for men
A full list of items that can be donated can be found here http://www.barnabus-manchester.org.uk/donating_goods.html
We will deliver all donated items on Monday :)
